![]() I look forward to seeing this game develop, being able to purchase necessary goods at the market, not having the majority of the people in my town gathering together to cheer and boo at ghosts and hopefully planning my family empire. If you work hard to get one character maxed out on certain skills and in office and then they die off, its a crap shoot where you begin with the next dynasty character. This really helps with building an empire. My request would just be that we are able to have control over more than one dynasty player or be able to interact with our dynasty by directing other members to perform certain duties. I realize that The Guild III is in early development and I in no way expected to be playing the full game at this point, though I thought that more of the simple game mechanics would be working (active trading at the marketplace, family planning). To strategically procreate and choose the lines of work my successors would enter and prepare them for when the my character would pass away. Still - I remember some somewhat stable hours of mutiplayer gameplay with friends, which were truly funny and. Without any dedicated server support multi was dooomed and never fully fixed. Guild II was also troubled a lot with desync issues - in fact so much, that I - not without much regret - gave up on the Guild games. To choose a spouse in a certain trade to corner a needed market. Since the old days from Guild 1, multiplayer was troubled with desync's. ![]() What made it work was being able to strategically plan my family. ![]() ![]() I loved being an active part of the economic and political structure versus playing a god role and controlling from an overall aspect as with most city building/economic games. I found out about The Guild about 6 months ago and loved playing The Guild II Renaissance even with its bugs. ![]()
